PPSOSIG:Manchester
We have recently formed the PPSOSIG:Manchester out of the national PPSOSIG (Project and Programme Support Office group)
Main PPSOSIG conferences are held twice a year, normally in the Midlands area. We wanted to form a local PPSOSIG group in the Manchester area to enable more members to get together and share best practice
The 1st Manchester:PPSOSIG Event
We're currently working on the first Manchester:PPSOSIG event, looking for the venue and guest speakers. If you're placed in the Manchester area and want to get involved in setting up the 1st event, please get in touch with us today
As a regional branch of the PPSO, PPSOSIG:Manchester is a voluntary, non profit forum for those involved in or running Programme Offices in the Manchester region. The purpose is to network with others who work in similar roles, from different industries and to network, share issues and share ideas/ best practices.
We would like to meet every few months but that is up to you! We will have different topics for each event and keep the events short (2 hours), with stimulating sessions and plenty of opportunity to interact with attendees.
We will not be charging for the events unless we have to hire a room in which case we will charge a nominal amount. Ideally we'll be looking for organisations who would be happy to give up a meeting space to accomodate the group for free.
Administration for the PPSOSIG:Manchester events will be managed by the PPSOSIG, including organising the venue, invitation & delegate management and arranging guest speakers. Members are invited to get involved and help manage and promote the PPSOSIG:Manchester at a local level
