PPSO SIG Conference - Birmingham, 30th September 2003
On the 30th September 2003, the PPSO SIG held their third dedicated PPSO Conference at the Lakeside Centre, Aston University. The theme for the conference was Extending the PPSO into a Centre of Excellence.

After presentations in the morning, and lunch, the group got back together to determine their agenda for the afternoon in an 'Open Space' style environment. Six discussion areas were set up to enable debate around the issues. After an introduction to the process and the roles they'd play, the group were asked for the questions they felt they wanted answered during the afternoon. There were seven responses, so we paired two similar questions, and the Open Space began.
The facilitators were given instructions, and they skilfully led their groups through just over an hour's discussion. The participants visited as many of the areas as they chose, taking part in multiple discussions.

On 21st June 2002, the PPSO SIG held their second dedicated PPSO Conference at the Lakeside Centre, Aston Business School, Birmingham, UK. As a result of feedback from the SIG Membership, the Conference took on the format of workshops and presentations giving focus on real experiences from established project offices.
